Note the satellite dish at the upper right, chosen by Billie to depict the graph of data "since many owls have a facial disk that acts like a funnel for sound".  The image drawn in the lower right section of the montage shows Billie's drawing of an owl head skeleton.  Billie notes that it includes the asymmetry of the eyes (one higher, one lower), which helps owls localize sound.
