Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II Project Initiative
January 2008 - October 2010
Third Wednesday of Each Month
5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
CMNH Library
The Cleveland
Museum of Natural History and the Kirtland Bird Club are joining
together to enter summer bird sightings into the Ohio Breeding
Bird Atlas website at
http://www.ohiobirds.org/obba2/
.
Are you curious about atlasing, do you already own a block, or
just enjoy learning about Ohio's nesting birds? If your having
trouble locating block numbers we have multiple preprinted maps
available.
If you have summer birding checklists, you have valuable Atlas
data, attend a Data Get Together and we'll enter your sightings
into the online database.
We meet from 5-8 PM on the third Wednesday of each month (except
November and December) in the Cleveland Museum of Natural
History library, free with museum admission.
Nesting Notes presentation will be at 6:30 PM:
01/16/08 What is the OBBAII?, presented by Aaron Boone
02/20/08 Woodpeckers
03/19/08 Birding techniques for atlasers, presented by
