Pileated Woodpecker Nest
West Creek Preserve
May 28, 2002

Tom Leiden and Gabe Leidy prepare equipment to check a Pileated Woodpecker's nest Gabe located. Tom's fiber optics camera attached to the top of the pole has a 50' range.
Will the camera get into this hole? Yes, it's in!

After the camera records the number of eggs in the nest, it is withdrawn. The
female Pileated Woodpecker returns to the hole.

She inspects the nest, and everything looks fine!
