 Big Sit at Shaker Lakes

Julie West

October 8, 2006

Dear KBC members,

Thanks for your pledges and donations for the Big Sit!  The funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for the bird banding project and to support other bird-related research and educational programs at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.

We saw and/or heard 45 species which are listed below, grouped according to the hour in which they were first noted.  We packed up and left a little after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, so once again we didn't quite make the 24 hours, but it was great fun.

Thanks so much for your support!
